Zeal for Zion Is Birthed!

It was Independence Day, July 4, 1979 when I had a supernatural encounter with the living God of Israel and received Messiah Yeshua into my heart. I was brand new! God’s Word was “like fire, shut up in my bones!” I just had to tell someone that God is real and knowable and Yeshua (Jesus) is our Jewish Messiah and Savior of the world. I discovered that being Jewish was something special and of great value to God.

Every believer, jew or gentile has a special calling from God.

In 1992, I produced a Messianic CD entitled ”Zeal For Zion” featuring my wife Stella Kruh. In 2010, God called me into full-time ministry. This call came while I was in the midst of prayer about possibly launching out into a new full-time ministry. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me that I already was in full-time ministry. I was already doing what God called me to do; evangelize, share my testimony, teach, preach, play piano, and reach out to pastors, and Zeal For Zion Ministries was birthed! God has called me as a minister of reconciliation between the messianic Jew and the church.

God has led me into covenant relationship with Dan Juster and Tikkun International Ministries. I feel honored and privileged to be affiliated with such a wonderful group of committed and anointed servants, men and women all united with one purpose and one mind- the salvation of Israel and the nations and the return of Messiah Yeshua to Israel. “That in all things, God will be glorified through Messiah Yeshua” ( IPeter 4:11) and…“that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea!” (Hab2:14)

It is my prayer that you would “know the love of Messiah Yeshua which surpasses knowledge and that you would be filled with all of the fullness of God.” (Eph.3:19) Blessings and shalom!!!

About Jeff - Musical Training & Background

Jeff Kruh is a native-born New Yorker. Jeff was born in the Bronx on Passover 1948, the year Israel became a nation. He began his piano studies at six years of age. At age seven, Jeff entered the Juilliard School of Music in Manhattan, NYC as a piano major on scholarship.

Jeff continued his studies at Juilliard for seven years and received his formal traing from Alice Ruskin and Edgar Roberts. Jeff has studied with jazz artists Cedar Walton, Roland Hanna, Stanley Cowell, Jimmy Heath and Michael P. Mossman.

Jeff received a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Queens College, Flushing, NY and then earned his Masters Degree in Music Education at Lehman College (CUNY-Bronx, New York). In 1998, Jeff Kruh was awarded a grant from The Queens Council of the Arts for composing and performing original Jazz works.
